Pour the mixed ingredients into a medium pot, and whisk in a &frac14;-cup of melted butter and 2 cups of whole milk. To thicken the soup, stir in a ⅔-cup of pumpkin puree and 4 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese&mdash;and enjoy!

Mix the cheese sauce with the pasta, and top your concoction with the bacon bits and a &frac14;-cup of breadcrumbs. Bake for 15 minutes, and voil&agrave;!
